JFD's Sovereignty for VP

Still waiting, and hoping for this to be updated one day
I thought I could run it on 2.7 version, but this version is not downloadable anymore

Hi,

I know this is ridiculously late, but the 2.7.3 version I have been running perfectly fine on, courtesy of a kind soul on these forums who uploaded a copy, should still be available from this thread:

I checked and the Mega.nz still works close to a year later.

Hope this helps anyway.

Here is an updated version for VP 4.16. The UI should now list all reforms again.

I didn't test this beyond having the UI work, so please feel free to report any other issues that come up.

Code:
Version 14:
* Updated SQL files for VP 4.16:
  - Obsolete unhappiness-related columns replaced with new equivalents for reforms
  - Obsolete EspionageModifier column replaced with SpySecurityModifier for reforms
  - Obsolete EspionageModifier and EmpireNeedsModifier columns replaced with equivalents for buildings

* Cleaned up trailing tab/space characters

Version 14a:
* Updated localisations of espionage-related reforms to better fit current version of VP.

Version 14b (Not save compatible with 14a):
* Fixed buildings not loading (for real this time)

Version 14c (Not save compatible with 14a/14b):
* Fixed the Supreme Court building not loading

Credit goes to amateurgamer88's v13a, whose changes to the unhappiness columns tipped me off on what was the issue. The actual files are based on v13 instead v13a though, as I got confused trying to diff the rest of the changes made in v13a.

Just tried, buildings like Magistrate and Supreme Court seem to be missing.

Thank you for the report. I've confirmed that the Supreme Court building wasn't loading properly in 14b (the Magistrate's Court and High Court buildings were fine), and updated the post with a fixed version.

Sorry for all the hotfixes after another- this should be the last one. I haven't modded in a while, and ended up making some really clumsy mistakes in the process.

New update, save compatible with 14c.

As with the previous version, the changes are limited strictly to bugfixes/text adjustments. No new content or balance changes have been included.

If anyone wants to more actively develop the mod, then please don't mind me and go ahead.

Code:
Version 15:
* Fixed promotions from the Bonded/Emancipated reforms applying to non-worker units
  - Was caused by the reforms lacking UnitClassType entries for the JFD_Reform_FreePromotions table.
  - The Bonded/Emancipated and Cities/Lands reforms now use the Policy_FreePromotions table to apply their promotions, and JFD_Reform_FreePromotions to remove them.
  - Includes slight format changes for better readability with word wrap

* Fixed promotions not applying properly when using the JFD_Reform_FreePromotions table due to mismatched variable names.

* Various localisation adjustments/fixes:
  - Charitable/Militant reforms now state how their bonuses only apply for new units
  - Public/Private reforms now correctly refer to the cost of acquiring new tiles instead of border growth
  - References to "Government and Reform buildings" now correctly only refer to Reform buildings (Magistrate's Courts and High Courts)
  - Exception goes to the Common/Civil reforms, which now list out the relevent buildings individually, so that players can more clearly see that Chanceries and Wire Services are included.

Version 15a:
* Tenno/Daimyo factions (Shogunate) now approve/disapprove both sides of religion reforms, instead of approving/disapproving one side twice.
* Obsolete StealTechFasterModifier column for the Security/Sabotage reforms replaced with EspionageNetworkPoints
 - Now affects spies in foreign cities by a flat +/- 10 Network Points per turn.
* Text for the Abolished/Privileged reforms adjusted to reflect correct values (+/- 25% culture in capital instead of 15%).

Does the problem still persist in 4.18.4? The usual suspect for a mod compatibility issue would be a change to the tables, but I don't see any in the 4.18 changelog, so I'm lost as to what the issue could be.

Will be fixed in the next version, according to axatin. He was also kind enough to give the remapper on discord, I'm attaching to this post in case someone missed it. How to use: "put the dll and the modinfo-file into "(1) CP" and the two other files into "(1) CP/Database Changes""

Works fine with my set up too.

My only concern is that I must switch government whenever receiving the notification (after adopting policies or building certain wonders). Is it intended ? Is there a way to keep the current government and not change it ?

Works perfectly
