Craimasjien's Mod Pack - Religion Lens, UI fixes and more to come! 1.2.0

Overview​

This pack is my on-going attempt to fix all the things I don't like about the vanilla Civilization VII experience. Feel free to request features and I will attempt to implement them as best I can.

I encourage you to checkout the mod's GitHub page and give me feedback or feature requests as you see fit.
  • Added an overview of a tile’s base yields, which are lost when upgrading the tile to an urban district. This is especially useful when removing an existing rural improvement, such as a farm.
  • Added a lens for Religion. This lens will show you on the world map which towns have been converted to which religion based on a default set of colors.
  • Automatically enable the Religion lens when selecting a Missionary unit.

Installation instructions​

  1. Download the latest release
  2. Open the corresponding mods folder:
    1. Windows: %localappdata%\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Mods
    2. MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Civilization VII/Mods
  3. Extract the zip file and move the folder into the Mods folder.

Does this mod require others to also download it in multiplayer?
Great mod, though as others have mentioned adding Overbuilding would make this twice as useful. Another suggestion is to show the net difference instead of just what you're losing (math hard).

Also I noticed a bug in one of my games where it seems 2 religions are the exact same color.
I was just complaining about the lack of a Religion Lens! Any chance of adding which cities will give Relics when converted based on your Relic Belief? Its so hard to tell if a foreign city meets the requirements just by looking at them.

Do you have plans to add the yield loss information for overbuilding?
Great mod, is it possible to add cities borders when they are "merged", also highlightning tiles that can culture bomb while expanding city would be great!

Nice mod, however stopped working after Patch 3 (no overbuilding screen), can you fix please?

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I can't seem to replicate your issue. When I try to build over a farm or other rural tile, or want to convert an empty tile to an urban one I see the information in the panel just fine. Overbuilding on urban tiles is not yet supported.
This is the type of information that is missing to make the UI nearly unplayable...thank you! I echo @infinitestone , the same information for overbuilding would be amazing. Thank you

Any chance to add what yields you're replacing when overbuilding? Similar to the way you did for showing what you lose when you convert to urban tile.
